In the past three years, DOS Network has become a strong oracle service that is loved by many enterprise partners, developers and community members. In June 2021, DOS Network team made the strategic decision to upgrade the existing brand to better deliver our visions and services to our clients, investors and community.
We would like to proudly announce that we will continue providing industry-leading oracle service under the new brand name Retriever Protocol in the future. Founders and the team will continue to work in an unchanged way to bring offchain data to the world onchain. More details about the $DOS token will be released along with the rebranding.
Product
This month, our team has successfully developed BEP20 token staking. We look forward to bringing BEP20 token staking to our product along with the rebranding initiative. Our new website is currently under revamp following the upgraded visual identity guidelines. You may expect to meet Retriever Protocol in August 2021.
Under the new brand name, we will expand our service to Layer-2 blockchains. Our engineering team is conducting thorough research on both optimistic and zk-rollup solutions. We firmly believe that oracle services will be an essential component of Dapps on L2. DOS Network (Retriever Protocol) has the vision to make cross-chain data more accessible.
DOS Staking
In June, the team tokens are going into a linear release phase. To show the long-term commitment and alleviate the community’s concerns, the unlocked team tokens won’t be released into the market, instead, they’ll go to the staking pool to fund existing and new nodes to strengthen the network.
